For the Valenar Aereni subraces, I have to buy Wayfinder's guide even though they are written in Rising From the Last War and that's the new, current canon 5e book and thats what i paid for?
........why?
They are not available in my normal character builder at all, exclusively set to Eberron too to make sure, and yes I own the content.

because Valenar and Aereni elf subraces have not been reprinted in Rising from the Last War and are only in Wayfinder's Guide.

Trying to get your physical content on Beyond is like going to Microsoft and saying "I have a physical Playstation disk, give me a digital Xbox version!"
Yep, the two Aereni and the two Valenar elf/half-elf options were never officially published and only appeared in the living playtest Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron. They can still be purchased individually here
Then why are they described (though they rewrote the name of the wood elf variant) in the book with their own section and description on the races page?

To offer insights on how to play them *in character* despite no mechanical benefit to them in the final book with DM approval.
