So i was making a character on the character builder in dndbeyond. I opened it up and started to stat out/choose the race, class, and background for a bit, before going onto a seperate game. When i came back i supposedly finished the sheet and went to check the final sheet, but for some reason it showed the message of basically "this isnt possible because you havent filled out the stats, race, or class" message. I double checked, and the stats that i put disappeared. I put them again and got the same result. I tried going to the mobile browser with the same result. Finally, i deleted the entire character sheet and redid the selections, but the same message appeared. What should i do?
Having the same issue, My characters name, race, class, level, etc. appears on my list of characters but when I go in to edit him everything goes back do default with nothing chosen.
Posting here due to the title of the thread is appropriate.
I created a homebrew race. It appears in my creations. I went to create a character, selected the race, so far so good.
When I select Origin manager, I get the following message:
“You currently have no available custom origins for this character. Unlock all official options in the Marketplace or create them for Homebrew Races.”
There are only a few books I have not purchased actually, so not sure what it wants me to buy here…. As I’m only missing about 4 of the books available, what is it I may be missing?
or, for a homebrew race does this indicate you have to create origins for your homebrew and cannot use “official” ones?
yes, I own; DMG, Players Handbook, Xanathar’s and Tasha’s among others. Do not have any of the Ravenloft stuff.
Any assistance is appreciated.

You are correct in the assumption that you have to create origins for your homebrew (which is done by creating Replacement features). The system isn't set up to automatically decide what should be included in Customize Your Origin.

Im having the same issue at the moment. Character creation keeps failing due to API bug or issue.

This same bug occurred about 3 days ago, and I had asked for some help in fixing it. Just make sure this post gets seen and it should be dealt with.
I am experiencing the same issue. When I fully complete a character in the builder, it says
Character Not Ready!
The current character is not accessible because it is missing either a Race, Class or Ability Scores.
Return to the character builder to complete the character creation process.
Edit: This is only occurring on the website. My character builder works normally on the app for iOS
