I do not know if it is appropriate to create a new thread for this or not but I have scoured the internet on a ruling about this and have yet to find one. I understand how it works and when it is applicable. What I want to know is, is the ability, the invisibility disrupted by an antimagic field? By my understanding most of these types of abilities are magical in nature. The book does not mention it being magical at all.
Say I am a Rogue(Assassin)/Ranger(Gloom Stalker) and I infiltrate a drow complex and say there is a mage with an antimagic field around him, can I maintain my invisibility while I am within five feat of him before I make my sneak attack? I do understand I still need to make my stealth checks, but my main concern is on the effect of the field on my invisibility.
Then if it doesn't break the invisibility then could I utilize an item that would produce such affect to be, while in complete darkness, completely invisible and warded again magical was of discerning my presence; ie. Fairy fire and the like?
