I just wanted to report that I can’t pick every cantrip when I choose the Pact of the tome feature of my third level warlock. The cantrips that are affected are „Blade Ward“, „Word of Radiance“ and a few more (I spotted the two because I wanted to add them). I know from searching in previous threads that there has been some issues with the pact of the tome feature. But I couldn’t find a thread concerning missing cantrips. I own the spells I wanted to add, so that’s not the issue.
I know the workaround to create a magic item like a book and put the cantrips right in there. That’s what I’m planning to do until the feature is fixed.
Thanks for the reply. I own the spells and my entitlements are in sync.
I created another warlock to double check and I was able to add the spells. That’s weird. A player in my campaign is using this character and is assigned to it. Maybe that’s an issue although I should be able to add features and spells since I created the character. For example I’m able to select „Blade Ward“ as a regular cantrip and select the pact of the talisman feature even if I’m not assigned.
The player unassigned the character and I picked it. And after that I was able to select the cantrips mentioned above. So I think the problem is solved.
If it's a problem with the content sharing not sharing - the usual fix is to turn content sharing off and on again (yea - I know how that sounds). It refreshes the sharing table so it's fully up to date. It often clears up those types of problems.
Yes, I’m the DM of the campaign, I somehow forgot to mention that. It’s not content sharing, because we don’t use this feature (but maybe in the feature).
As I wrote unassigning the character solved the issue, but I’m still not sure why it didn’t work in the first place.

I can select those cantrips when I try. Double check that you own the spells (one is PHB, the other is XGtE) and that your entitlements are in sync.

Are you the DM in the campaign, or just another player? I assume you're the DM, but I can't tell for sure. If you're not, that's probably why.
