I just bought a bunch of spells, because I got really invested in character builder in the middle of the workweek, as you do haha. Anyways, a portion of those spells are showing up in character builder, but a number of them are not. Along with that, certain spells that I think (thought I may be wrong) I should have access to with my class and level (i.e. Spare the dying, level five wizard/necromancer) are not showing up to learn/add to my spellbook either. I'm sure this is just me missing something, but I'm just getting pretty frustrated with myself trying to figure it out on my own! Any help would be great, especially since I blew a good third of this week's paycheck on those spells lmao
Spare the Dying is a cantrip, and not on the wizard spell list. What are the other spells?
If you literally just bought the spells, it can take a bit of time for the changes to go through. First, make sure your entitlements are in sync here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace
Then, if everything is sync'd yet still not showing up, "refresh" the character by bumping their level up by 1 and then back down, and see if the spells show then.

Spare the Dying won't show up for a Wizard because it is a Cleric / Artificer spell only. (Notice the "Available for: [...]" list at the bottom of the spell page when you click the link)
Just because a spell is in the Necromancy school of magic - does not necessarily mean it's available to the Necromancer subclass of the Wizard (I know - it's not especially intuitive). Also - just because you are making a Necromancer Wizard - does not mean you have to pick only Necromancy spells. As long as a spell is on the Wizard spell list and it is of a level you can learn - you can choose to learn it.
The spell list you should be looking at for your Wizard is: https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/class/wizard From there you can filter Necromancy school spells if that is something you want to focus on.

Thanks for the help! I guess I was a bit confused, I was looking at the necromancy spell list and I saw spare the dying as one of the available cantrips to the subclass https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/school/necromancy?sort=level
anyways, I'll go try to refresh! Thanks :)

Ah, that makes sense! I appreciate it!
