I'm in a campaign where my character has gotten a pet Almiraj. I wanted to add the Almiraj stat block under the pet tab in the extras menu on the character sheet, but Almiraj doesn't appear under any of the categories when I search for it. Am I missing something, or is D&D beyond not capable of taking any official monster stat block as a pet?
I can add it just fine. Are you sure you own Tomb of Annihilation (or are having it shared with you through the campaign) - because the Almiraj is from that book.
If it's being shared with you through content sharing - get the sharer to check their content is in sync - and to turn content sharing off and on again to refresh the sharing table.
You may have had the compendium only, or you have it shared with you through a campaign. You'd be able to read the compendium that way, but not have access to the content outside the character in the campaign with the sharing enabled.

If you own it - make sure your entitlements are in sync here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/marketplace

Mega Yahtzee Thread:
Highest 41: brocker2001 (#11,285).
Yahtzee of 2's: Emmber (#36,161).
Lowest 9: JoeltheWalrus (#312), Emmber (#12,505) and Dertinus (#20,953).
Thank you. It turns out I didn't own it. I assumed I did since I was able to view the entire adventure book unlike some of the others on the client.
