Made a homebrew set of armor for one of my players, but didn't have it set up quite the way I liked so I made a new version of it. However, dnd beyond won't allow me to add the new version of the item, only the old one, how do I fix this?
This is likely just a matter of caching. Homebrew edits after being made can take upwards of 15–20 minutes to appear on a character sheet. If this much time has elapsed and you still don't see the new item, try bumping your character level up and back down, or toggling the character's inspiration twice and refreshing.
