Hi. I generated 4 new characters in my account and my group are now using them.
I've now decided to use the campaign feature on D&D Beyond. I can see you can include characters in a campaign by:
1 Players having a character in their account and assigning it to the campaign
2 The campaign owner creating unassigned characters and then people claiming them when they join
BUT is there a way to take my existing characters and copy them into the campaign so they can be claimed, or do i need to go through the hassle of re-creating them in the campaign?
You can get the JOIN link for the campaign, follow it, and then join with one of your existing characters. After that, you can go back to the campaign page, and UNASSIGN the character so it will be available for players to select. Repeat for each existing character you want to add.
