Yeah I really would like this to be in the character creator. Or at least give us the ability to make our own classes.

Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Doctor Sam Beckett led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project, known as "Quantum Leap". Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Doctor Beckett prematurely stepped into the Project Accelerator and vanished.
This might not be much, but I hope it will helps everyone out a little. Found this article that came out in July, 2018. The link is here. Its a FAQ from the guy who helped make WGtE. To make it easier, here's the question that everyone on this thread is asking:
Where’s the artificer?
It’s coming. The artificer is already in development at WotC, so it was kept separate. A revised version of the artificer will be out soon in Unearthed Arcana, and Mike Mearls has said that this artificer will be added to the WGtE (which will be a free update for anyone who owns the book.
Once they push out another UA with artificer, it'll be put on up the site! From what badeye said in his announcement, UA content will be added a week after it's published by WotC from this point on.
So we'd just have to wait a week after it comes out at worst.
I preparing to run an Eberron campaign myself but am limited it doing so with the use of DnDBeyond. No artificer or mystic so far and you can't create homebrewed classes <sigh>
I use the Character Builder to fool around a fair bit, but not as a serious tool (yet) because of the lack of access to Homebrewing options (and Official options like Power Points).
I am currently nearing the end of my Curse of Strahd campaign (another 2-3 sessions to go) and was hoping to go with a complete DnDBeyond setup for Character tracking for my next campaign; but with the lack of these options I have been looking into other options.

Just wondering if you can add the Artificer class from UA to the character creation section. Also is it possible to add in darfellan? I have one in a current campaign and would love to re-create it on dnd beyond
The D&D Beyond staff team need time to properly integrate all of the features of the Artificer to work smoothly. When they finish, it will be available, but no ETA. See this tweet from BadEye.
That is amazing! I want to play one so bad!

here's to holding out that Guildmaster's Guid will have the Artificer class!
Yeah, but that won't be put into DND Beyond, which is what we are here for.
that's kinda lame.

There you have it. And according to this post:

I was wondering if there was any kind of update on when the Artificer class would be available on D&D Beyond.
Thank you.
I've merged your post into this existing thread on the subject, where the question is already answered. :)

Here's an update I just found: https://comicbook.com/gaming/2018/11/06/dungeons-and-dragons-artificer-class/
Thanks for the link.

This is great news !!
I didn't know they were still doing that many changes to it. I usually saw it listed as a class on this site I thought they had already released it.
Here's the latest from Wizards about the Artificer class: http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana/artificer-revisited. When might we expect to see this is a build option?
Thanks!

Right on - just glad to see this is in the works!
