Rune Shield missing +1 AC

It looks like the item Rune Shield is missing the +1 AC from the following:

While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.

Only the regular +2 AC for using a shield is represented.

Pretty sure that's a homebrew item (does it say version instead of citing a specific book?). You'll need to tell the person who made the homebrew.
