My wife is logged into D&D Beyond on her Macbook via Chrome. Everything works fine.

Trying to login on the iOS app for the first time, she got the error in the subject line above.

Turns out she logged in via Google on her laptop but was tapping the Apple login button on the iOS app; this gave the cryptic error.

When she tapped the Google login everything was fine after that.

Just posting this in case someone else runs into this problem.
