Stop snowing

How do I turn off the annoying snow effect the is plaguing my characters in the mobile app?

I think I found it. 

• Start by launching the app fresh
• Then select your player icon in the upper left to see your profile
• There should be a slider or something called "Snow Effect" 
• Disable the setting and see if that solves it. 

That's it! Note that it takes a few minutes to kick in, but that seems to have removed the animation. Thanks!

Sadly I’m doesn’t give me the slider option :(.  Are there other options?

I also can’t seem to find a slider! I’d love to do something about this!

I just downloaded the app in JULY and had the snow that wouldn't go away. WHY IS THIS A PROBLEM!
