I cannot find a way to delete a manual entry monster that I included into the initiative list. I can remove or add monsters from the compendium(+/-) as normal, but the manual entries have no such controls. When editing the encounter, the manual entry is visible on a separate list, but still cannot be removed. A solution to this would be A) apply +/- controls to manual entries when editing an encounter, and B) apply a feather that allows creatures with 0hp to be removed from the initiative order and/or placed in a "graveyard" list for later retrieval.
Alternative to this would be maybe to allow to Edit manual entries as I only mistyped something in mine and wanted to fix it, but found no way to do so.
About a year later and I just want to add my voice to this subject. I'm going to delete the encounter and re-make it because it really bugs me having that messed up manual entry in the initiative list. I guess on the bright side I learned don't mess around with manual entries.
Rather than use manual entries, I now edit the encounter midbattle and add the players/monsters in the list. Initiative Order and Enemy Health is kept, which is amazing, so its as easy as resuming the encounter. Wish manual entries were more reliable, but this is my workaround thus far.
I wouldn't be surprised if WotC's acquisition of D&D Beyond has halted many forms of progress on this platform. I'd bet the staff who replied to this thread in Dec 2021 (see above) is no longer working here. Hopefully priorities will return to order once the money-grab B.S. is pushed out or something, especially if the community continues to pressure WotC.

I'll pass along this feedback, thank you!

Any updates on a way to remove them or a plan in the future?
yep this issue is still prevalent
Yes, this would be very useful.
I've had to delete encounters and start over several times now. Being able to adjust/rename/remove a manual entry is a must have feature.
Would love to see some sort of response and fix to this issue. It is quite annoying.
Adding my vote for some sort of solution to this
It would be very useful being able to remove them!
Just encountered the same problem. Would love some more control over manual entries without having to delete everything!
Any progress on this? The Manual entries should really be editable or removable. Such a blatant oversight.
I can't really talk because I don't know but how hard can it be to add a delete button for manual entries? Its been like a whole year now.
Hello this still has not been fixed and is causing issues still.
Cheers
Over a year later how has this still not been fixed??
I'm encountering the same issue as well. No way to edit or remove a manual entry.
2023 and it still an on going issue
