The Artificer subclass, the Armorer, has each hand become a separate weapon. Holding nothing else, this qualifies the class for the Duel Wielder feat. While other weapons can be customized as Off-Hand, the Armorer’s Thunder Gauntlet is unable to be customized as such.
Although I’ve seen discussion of whether the gauntlets are a pair (but a single weapon) or separate, I think it should be eligible for customization so as to allow for DM fiat ruling in favor of them being separate.
