Today, I published my statblock for Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon - but now my statblock for the Great Wyrm Red Dragon has disappeared from the list of my published monsters and from the "creations" list. Instead, at the bottom of Bahamut's statblock, the Great Wyrm Red Dragon statblock is listed as an old version, and there is a version of my statblock of Tiamat too for some reason.
What I did, was just using my Tiamat statblock as a template when I clicked the button to create a new monster. I did not create a new version of Tiamat or the Great Wyrm Red Dragon, I created a completely new monster.
Can you fix that bug and untangle my statblocks so that Bahamut, Tiamat and the Great Wyrm Red Dragon all are published as independent monsters?
I had that happen in the past myself, when I used a magic item I published as a template for another magic item I published. It's annoying, I agree.
That said, you really shouldn't be publishing things that fast. You don't need to publish homebrew in order to use them in your own campaigns.
I know that I do not need to publish homebrew to use it in my campaign. But I want it to be available for the community to use it, that's why I am publishing it. Many have not been satisfied with the Great Wyrms and Tiamat/Bahamut statblocks from Fizban's, so I decided to aid the community by redesigning them.
I resolved the issue by publishing many fewer things. And no longer publishing materials based on copyrighted material, which the said magic item had been.
I imagine that if you keep some things unpublished, and use those as templates for things you intend to publish, then it won't cause problems when you publish the stuff made as copies of unpublished things.

And you really shouldn't be publishing homebrew based on the D&D copyrighted Bahamut & Tiamat.

Have you found a way to resolve the issue?
