I have several custom magic item in my account. I am searching for them in one of my campaigns, under manage inventory, and nothing comes up. This was possible before but now I cannot add custom items to characters in campaigns and neither can they.
Custom Item handling was adjusted with the recent Containers update to allow custom items in containers. Click on a container and you'll be able to manage custom items within it.
Are you using the App or the website?
Either way, if you still have trouble, post the url to your character so someone can take a look.

I noticed recently that a character of mine had their various Content options under Preferences all toggled off. Maybe the same thing happened for you and your players? If so, then make sure they have Homebrew Content toggled on (red/right.)
Sorry, I got confused by "custom magic items" because "custom items" are a specific type of thing you can add on character sheets, as opposed to Homebrew Items, which is probably what you were referring to.

Or enable homebrew content?
Good point Lolths_Bane.

Enable homebrew on that character worked. Can't believe I didn't think of that! Thank you :)
