Hey y'all, I've made a homebrew item that I'd like to give the wearer disadvantage on charisma checks (As in, if you were to look at your character sheet, the button at the very top lmao) but all I see is giving it to all charisma based ability checks. Anyone know how to do this or is it just not possible? Thanks!
The general rule of thumb is 'if there isn't something WotC published that allows you to do X, the homebrew tools have probably not been configured to allow you to do X.' So if there aren't any magic items, etc that give disadvantage on checks like that, and I can't think of any, then you're probably out of luck. The closest I can think of is exhaustion granting disadvantage on all ability checks, but even when you've got that on nothing displays in the character sheet near the ability scores, so I'm still guessing there's nothing on DDB.
