If you have a Master sub, then check your Account Entitlements to be sure that they are synced. If the error still occurs, the player may need to sync their entitlements as well.
There's a current issue in DDB that is letting you, the DM, see spells (and feats) that you own as available on a player's character sheet, even if they aren't actually shared with the character, which is why the error occurs when you try to add the spell to the character.

Are you content sharing? You say you’re subscribed (presumably a Master Tier too), but you also need to enable content sharing in whatever campaign the character is in. If you are sharing, try turning it off and on again if the entitlements are in sync.

Yes, I own the Players handbook.
Is this your own character, or are you a DM editing a player's character?
Either way, post the url to the character sheet so someone can take a look.

DM editing a player's character. I am also subscribed, so they should have access.

Refreshing the content sharing seems to have solved the problem.
Thanks!
