Subscriptions don't net you any content, you need to purchase content to use it in the character builder.
Wood Elf is in the basic rules, and therefore free, so you really only need to purchase the Drakewarden, which is from Fizban's Treasury of Dragons. If you click into that book in the marketplace, you can purchase just the subclass for $1.99. There are some Ranger spells that you might also need to purchase, but a majority are free from the Basic Rules, and you won't need them at first level.
If you want to use the optional features from Tasha's, you have to purchase the whole book. That can't be bought piecemeal.
I'm brand new to DnD and this tool. I know the free portion is very limited.
So, what do I need to purchase, subscribe to, or whatever to get the DnD Beyond to all me to fully setup a Wood Elf Ranger Drakewarden?
I'm sorry if these questions have been beat to death previously but, like I said, I'm brand new and searching hasn't answered my question.
