I’ve noticed that while you can override the of cost and weight when customising existing items by decimals (up to two digits), it seems impossible to do so with custom items –it immediately transforms it into natural numbers. Although it is by no means a game-changing issue, it is a little bit of a nuisance, given that with custom items one can avoid the uncomfortable (if otherwise understandably necessary) asterisk.
I wouldn’t know why this is the case, given that it is already doable with the pre-existing items, so I guess it is potentially an issue that could be fixed/implemented/improved.
Agreed, The functionality obviously there since you can edit weights and cost using decimals on pre-made items. But custom items do not allow this. Would love for this to be fixed.

This should be fixed and combined with https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/d-d-beyond-feedback/32080-custom-items-do-not-support-decimal-values-for
