I was configuring a Druid for a player and accidentally learned far to many spells (21) for low-level Druid. However, there is no "remove" option in the interface to get rid of these spells to they are no longer known. There is just a "Prepare" button, but no "Remove" button with the red X. It's just missing.
That's because Druids are Prepared casters who "know" all the available leveled spells, and select a number of them to Prepare each day. The same applies to Artificers, Clerics, and Paladins. (Wizards are an outlier since they only "know" and are able to Prepare leveled spells that are in their spellbooks.)
Thank you! I figured that out over the last few hours, makes sense to me. I could have sworn I had to click "learn" on each of the druid spells in the first place to get them into the list, but I must be misremembering.

I even tried to change the character's class to a Fighter, and then back to a Druid, but the 21 known spells still "stick". How do I get rid of them?
