Hi, I understand wanting to inform users of the changes but having the new little banner on like every single page without a way to close it. Sorry but I read it the first time I saw it. I don't need to be reminded every single page I open. And so add a way for me to close it on the page I'm on... and please don't make me close it every time I open a page.
Before anyone says, "It will be removed by them soon why bring this up?". There will be an update to the privacy policy in the future and I'm wanting to help this one and any future additional "updated policy" and any other future notification banners.
Yes, it's not a huge deal but the character sheet fits on my screen just right except for now this banner means it scrolls a little further and is not great.
I agree. I think my character sheet looks really nice, but now the banner ruins it completely. Please remove it, or at least have a way to get rid of it
I have no idea, but I'm wondering if there's some sort of compliance obligations (if the update is based on changes in privacy law, or something mandated by a given entities' privacy laws when a privacy policy changes) requiring DDB to have the banner/notice up for x days, but I'm not an expert in the world of fine print.

It's easy enough to remove using inspect element. It's labeled as <footer> in the HTML, and simply deleting that section will remove the privacy banner.
This is how I've been dealing with it as well - you have to do it every time you visit your character sheet - but it's a lot better than nor being able to remove it at all.
Here's a guide for anyone who isn't super confident with HTML;
Either press "F12" -or- Right click anywhere on the page and click "Inspect" or "Inspect element" depending on your browser.
Look for the line that begins <footer>, select it and delete it.
If you accidentally delete the wrong thing - don't worry! You can just refresh the page and start again. :)
Hiding the privacy policy banner on a scroll is dodgy as ****. It's not even at the bottom of the page, it is literally hidden unless you scroll down. Try it! Zoom out of the character sheet so you see the entire page without scrolling. The banner isn't there.
Scroll down - appears. Scroll up - gone.
This looks even worse when they are so happy to spam the top banner (that you can dismiss) for any news or sales that is happening.

I hate this privacy policy on the bottom of my screen. Please remove it.
I've read the privacy policy. I don't care anymore. This thing is aggravating and an eye-sore.
Don't worry... I'm not wearing any pants.
