The map in the Preface of the Sword Coast Adventures Guide seems to be wrong/outdated as it doesn't include Iceland Dale and a few other annotations. The content will match whatever is printed in the book. Was the book map updated to include Icewind Dale, etc?
I don't have a copy of the book so I can't check. That a good point though.
