A player of mine has rolled a level 11 Variant Aasimar Cleric of Life and added Stone Shape to his prepared spells list. However, it decided to make two more copies of itself, and now it won't go away when un-preparing the spell. This has caused the spell list to freak out and claim he has too many spells prepared, even though without the copies of Stone Shape we could prepare more spells.
I tried to replicate this with a cleric of my own (including the same race, a different race, various different domains) but it never gave me the same trouble.
That Stone Shape really wants to be in there even though it's not a spell we ended up wanting, lol. Help?
Try downleveling the character to level 10, see if that removes the spell, and then bump them back up to 11; that usually does the trick. (If you're doing XP leveling be sure to note the character's XP beforehand!)

Regrettably that didn't work. I even went as far down as level 8 just to see. Never went away. I'm half tempted to just make note of all my player's choices and remove the Cleric entirely to rebuild and just....... not pick stone shape lol.
