In Sword Coast Adventures, it says you know Dwarven, or another language if you already know dwarven. However, you don’t get the option to change the language if you already know Dwarven.
Several folks posted about this a while back, and it was flagged as a bug, but no progress has been made to squash it. I know the revamped character sheet will have greater on-sheet customization features, and I believe it has been mentioned that languages will be one of the many things that can be adjusted. So this should be fixed when that drops (according to the most recent development update's "junebug" image and BadEye's clarifying tweet, the target release date is right around the corner).
