For context, my character is a STR-based monk. Due to the low damage dice of the monk's unarmed strike, I opted for the Fighting Initiate: Unarmed Fighting Style feat, providing 1d8 base damage. However, this damage value doesn't carry over to my extra unarmed strike (bonus action) and flurry of blows on my character sheet, which still indicate 1d4 base damage. According to RAW, my extra unarmed strikes and flurry of blows should now display 1d8 base damage. I hope this bug gets fixed as soon as possible. Thank you!
Martial Arts feature:
• You can use Dexterity instead of Strength for the attack and damage rolls of your unarmed strikes and monk weapons.
• You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike or monk weapon.
Fighting Initiate Feat (Unarmed Fighting Style):
• Your unarmed strikes can deal bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6+5 on a hit. If you aren’t wielding any weapons or a shield when you make the attack roll, the d6 becomes a d8.
