Your current D&D Beyond Membership is: MASTER ( slots). To continue, select up to unlimitedcharacters to activate. Your other characters will be deactivated until you restore them by deleting an active character to free up a slot, or by adding more slots with a D&D Beyond Subscription
It's got to be a server side issue as I've logged out, cleared my cache and cookies. Logged back in with no change. I've also attempted logins on multiple browsers on multiple different machines and have the exact same issue across all of them. No difference between the App or the website.
I can view all my campaigns and all my purchased source material, but when I attempt to click on a character, it kicks me to my main character selection screen saying I have exceeded my limit of characters. It doesn't matter if I click on my character or any other characters in a campaign. (Regardless of whether I'm running or playing). Also anyone else in the campaigns I'm playing in, cannot access my characters either.
Like others have said before, you can select characters to be active using the Dndbeyond mobile page. (I got to it through the App).
However this only allows you access to 6 characters instead of the "Unlimited" characters that the Master Subscription should, and previously did, provide. I've also tried resync the account data on the Account management page to no avail. Now rather than telling me to select my 6 characters it just says "Subscription expired You can use only up to 6 characters"
This is my first big DnDBeyond bug, does anyone have experience on how long these take to resolve? (Or even update?)

I am stuck on this screen. I cannot access my characters. Its game night. I am disappointed.
I am dealing with this same issue right now as well. I can't access any of my characters even though I have confirmed that my subscription is active.
I had to go through and reactivate all my characters. i was only able to do it on mobile web
Yup. I'm getting the same thing. Subscription is valid and yet it says I've exceeded my character allotment.
Same here. Master subscription seems active, but characters are locked.
please contact support
Having the same issue. Submitted a ticket yesterday regarding it.
Yup. I've got a ticket open as well.

The solution is:
Under each character is "Click to Deactivate"
You must click this on all characters, then save.
You will (for obvious reasons) say I'm wrong... but that WILL activate your characters
