Can't edit Notes in Character Sheet or generator.

As the title says. Went back into the character to edit Background, get the message;

'Whoops! We rolled a 1 on our API check. We're heading into town to visit the blacksmith for repairs. Try again after a Short Rest.'

Thing it, it's just this character! Others in my collection seem fine.

Yes, I could rebuild it but that would be a lot of work... and, anyone else with this issue?
