This is a little long winded, and I am extremely frustrated.
ON Aug 3rd, I got an email saying: "Your latest master subscription payment failed to process and your subscription is now on hold."
I have been using paypal for years to pay for my master tier subscription, every month no problems.
I click on the reactivate your subscription link in the email and it takes me to a page with a dragon and some tools with the following text:
"Couldn't Collect Payment
You no longer have access to the subscription benefits. If you have further questions please contact Customer Support."
I can't get an official statement on whether or not paypal is still going to be used for subscriptions.
I contacted customer support and created a ticket( Id #4012868 )but haven't got a reply.
Then I was poking around looking for options and I notice my wizards account was no longer linked to DnDbeyond. When I went to wizards.com I tried resetting my password but never got an email. So today, I went to create a new account with the same info thinking I'd get an "account already exist error" with some different reset options but it was successful.
So my wizards.com account, which I have had for a couple of decades, was deleted.
I don't know if that a separate issue, or tied to the same reason me subscription is on hold.
It's weird I can't find a way to change how to pay for my subscription
I do have an option to cancel my subscription then create a new one, but due to the fact everything has been wo wonky, I fear that doing so will lose all the things I have bought and all my campaign stuff.
This has happened to me multiple times. I only renew when I find a particularly special deal for a low enough price. Every time I do, I then manually go and check the auto renewal is turned off. Twice, it renewed itself anyway. ******* scam.
