Favored Enemy
1st level
You always have the Hunter’s Mark spell prepared. You can cast it twice without expending a spell slot, and you regain all expended uses of this ability when you finish a Long Rest.
The number of times you can cast the spell without a spell slot increases when you reach certain Ranger levels.
what favoured enemy and is there no favoured terrain anymore?
+1 for fighting style not giving you a selection, this seems broken. You can however go into the character sheets Features & Traits -> Feats tab and add the fighting style there.
There is no specific favored terrain or enemy anymore. They wanted abilities overall to be usable in more situations.. However, since they were never really that strong, I don't think allowing a ranger to choose those as well would break anything.
After Hunter's Mark has been cast twice without using a spell slot, if it's been a particularly long day, can Ranter/Hunter cast it again using a spell slot, if one is available?

Yes. The class feature says the spell is "always prepared", and you can always use your spell slots to cast a spell that's prepared, even if you have other ways of casting that same spell.
FYI, usually a good idea to make a new thread for a question like this rather than resurrecting an old dead one that's not really related.

+1
Fighting Style feat option also broken on paladin. Same work around is effective here.
