I have a hero tier subscription. I pre-ordered the 2024 PHB as part of the digital + physical bundle. The 2024 PHB appears in my D&DBeyond library, but when I try to download it I get "download failed" immediately. I was able to download the 2024 basic rules just fine. This issue occurs on both of my devices. I tried closing and restarting the app, but this did not work.
Hoping I can get access soon, been looking forward to this for weeks.
Edit: just saw that today is only for Master tier. Nevermind.
He also stated that he pre-ordered it, which gives him the digital copy 2 weeks early. I'm also having the same issue. I pre-ordered the bundle and it's having downloading difficulties.

It only gives him the digital copy 2 weeks early IF he is a Master Tier subscriber. They are a Hero Tier so they get it 1 week early.
how can I download a pdf version of the PHB? I have the Master Tier and I do have it in my library, but I don't always have wifi to access D&D Beyond to read it
I don't have the hero or master subscription. I redeemed the code, and the book is in the library. I'll just have to wait untill the 17th to open?
The pushing towards a paid subscription is kind of awkward. I always buy books physical in my local store in Belgium and now I feel i'm being punished for being so loyal. Buying the books, buying the digital version, now paying for a - let's be honest - quite empty package (the perks are quite low)... There are limits I guess. I'll be exploring other options in the future. Paid a lot of money for the digital and physical bundle and now someone who just buys digital and a subscription pays less and already has access. That is wrong in so many ways.

The 17th is the official release date of the book. The early release was intended as an additional perk for subscribers, not the standard.
But I pre-ordered before the obligation of the subscription was announced. I ordered months ago.
This way: I would have the book first. Now the book was late (and damaged) and I couldn't acces. Just a lame service and I didn't have any perks of the pre-order. that's all.

As Hero tier you get it a week in advanced instead of 2 weeks in advance.

What if you don't have the tiers I don't have the tiers but it says I can download it but it says I can download it
If you bought it you get access on the 17th when it releases.
Ok thank you

I’m having the Same problem. I’d like to download it without having to rely on WiFi to access it.
Download the DnDBeyond app. You can download the books you own and also have access through sharing there and use it offline.
Hi I understand,
But I pre-ordered before the obligation of the subscription was announced. I ordered months ago.
