Character is an Amethyst Dragonborn Ascendant Dragon Monk. I went to look at the new selectable backgrounds in my character page after transferring the character over to 5e2024 rules and the +2/+1 bonus I had from his previous background is now permanently unavailable after selecting my old custom background again.

After I reverted back to the old background, they should back up for me. I thought I had lost them too. I saw them on the abilities page.
