I created a homebrew spell for my campaign that won't show up on spell lists or character builder. I have removed and re-added the spell to my collection, removed class levels and re-added them to characters in attempt to get the spell to show up on their spell lists, and everything else I could think of to try to fix the problem. Nothing has worked. The link to the spell is https://www.dndbeyond.com/spells/2636171-pyromancy. Any help solving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Most likely, this is because the 2024 classes and the 2014 classes are implemented as different classes with the same name. For a spell to appear on the cleric spell list, you need the correct version of cleric in the spell. (You can have both, of course.)
I too have this issue, but I’m using 2024 classes and races, but my subclass is homebrewed and the same with my race. Could this be because I’m getting the spells from the race?
thanks a lot. I tagged wizard and sorcerer under "core rules" forgetting that it's the 2024 core rules and have to scroll down and tag the classes under 2014

The spell appears as an available option to tie to homebrew feats, but will not appear on spell lists otherwise.
Same issue for all of the spells I have homebrewed.

This was my problem, thanks for reminding me of the solution. This 2024 system is so annoying.
You unadulterated genius jl83 - thanks.
You're welcome, but I don't think "knowing things" really passes the bar of "unadulterated genius". :)
