None of my group has bought ANY of the 2024 books. We do have all of the pre-2024 expansion books (Xanthar’s, Tasha’s, &c) but when trying to create a new character with 2014 classes, DDB is shoving new class constructs on us and failing to show the stuff we were using just a couple of weeks ago.

Fix your crap, WOTC.
None of the old stuff has been removed. Make sure the “2014 Rules” and “Expanded Rules” options are checked on the Home tab and choose the 2014 version of the class on the Class tab.
Bro did they get rid of ki points? All i see is something called “focus points?” Its hella confusing and figured it must be from that new rule book. How do i turn off the new rule book? Or get my sheet to use proper terminology?

Focus Points are the same thing as Ki Points. It was renamed in the 2024 Player's Handbook, but it works exactly the same way.
If you look at the post right above yours you'll see how to continue to use the old version of the class: make sure "2014 Rules" is checked on the Home tab, and then select the old version of the class on the Class tab. You might need to scroll down to find it.
I only have the original books, but i was forced into the new rule set. This is not what I payed for or wanted. I have multiple campaigns and share content, but everyone has withdrawn from the platform.

As has been discussed in many places, everyone 'owns' the 2024 Free Rules, which is what the character classes are based off. It's free so you can't refuse it.
This is intentional, because WOTC won't be making more 2014 material, and Hasbro demands money, so they need to convince everyone to move up. The only real option is to walk after making it clear that you're walking because of this.
I just sent several complaints to the company about it. I sincerely doubt anyone cares. WHERE IS ALL THE OUTRAGE ON THE INTERNET ABOUT THIS? WHERE IS THE SOCIAL MEDIA PRESSURE?! THIS is actually something worth being pissed and worth boycotting D&D Beyond/Fandom/WoTC over. And yet, not a peep.
This sounds like you've selected a class, species, or feat from the 2024 rules. You can turn off the ability to select 2024 character options, but that won't change the options you've already selected. You still need to actually select the old version. For example, if you've selected a 2024 class, you need to go to the Class tab, remove the class that you've selected, and select the 2014 version instead.
Just wanted to say thank you. It took reading this whole thread to finally get that I just had to go back and redo my character and choose 2014. You're appreciated!
