So my players wanted to update their classes to the new 2024 rules, but my Wizard player who is playing a Chronurgy Magic Wizard couldn't select their subclass with the new Wizard, so they had to stick with the 2014 version. The same seems to be the case for the Graviturgy Wizard. Is there a way this can be fixed?
Third-party subclasses are not currently working with the new class versions. They'v said they're working with their partners to make it happen, which means it's not just a technical change.
You can make it work with private homebrew in the meantime.
I'm having the same issue. I have shared content with my campaign. I even went as far as buying a Wildemont gift license for my wizard. That was a $30 waste just to find that it still doesn't work. I hope this is resolved soon.

It's a legal issue, not a technical issue. If you just read the numerous threads on the issue, you'll see the only solution for now is to add it as homebrew. If you open a tab with a copy of the 2014 version, it's a really easy process to just replicate it with the 2024 class by copy-pasting everything. (I did it for Wildemount, Tal'dorei, Humblewood, and Grim Hollow. Grim Hollow was a pain because of 3 different subclasses with level-scaled options, but the rest is simple.)
