I know there are new rules and changes but I was under the impression the content we purchased would still be available. My group is still playing with the old rules and I just logged in to create a goliath character and I can't because it was completed removed from the species sections. Seeing on how I paid for the content so I could use this race this is completed unacceptable. Was this a mistake of something sort?
I have the same problem. When I try to select legacy species in the character creator, it only lets me pick from Basic 2014, DMG 2014, Locathah Rising, Mordenkainen’s Tome of Foes, One Grung Above, PHB 2014, The Tortle Package, and Volo’s Guide to Monsters.
However, I have licensed access to several other sources with racial (species) options, including Mordenkainen Presents: Monster's of the Multiverse. But these options no longer show in the character builder.

You have to enable "Show Legacy Content" on the builder- Goliath (Legacy) otherwise wouldn't pop up under Monsters of the Multiverse window.
I just tested this myself and found that MoM's content is still on my builder.
No, it wasn't that legacy content was not selected. I just solved my issues. The problem was that I did not have expanded rules selected on the initial page in the character builder. I assumed expanded rules meant 2024 rules. I think there needs to be some clarification on what expanded rules refers to. Anyhow, my problem is solved. Wonder if this helps @balthrax
This is still an issue. I am creating a new 2014 legacy druid character. Show Legacy Content is on. Expanded Rules is checked. When selecting a species the 2014 Core Rules is listed but Goliath is not. See IMGUR image link below.

these are the goliaths that show up when i go to create a character, recommend checking if you own the book to build a goliath in saying that no clue where the goliath from volos went
When selecting a species the 2014 Core Rules is listed but Goliath is not.
It’ll be under Expanded Rules, not 2014 Core Rules. The latter included only the species from the 2014 PHB and DMG, neither of which included any version of Goliath. You can use the search bar at the top of the species selector to narrow things down.
If you want to use the MOTM version, you’ll also need to have that book purchased, or have your character assigned to a campaign where that book is shared with you.
The original version from EEPC (which was reprinted in VGTM) should be freely available.
