Custom Background Does Not Work

Hi! Find a problem that Custom Backgound in 2024 rules doesn`t work. It does not give a feat and ability score. When I create a custom background, it doesn't grant me the feats and ability scores, although there is no such issue with standard backgrounds. The problem exists only when selecting feats and ability scores from the new 2024 backgrounds according to the updated rules.

D&D Beyond doesn't currently support custom backgrounds in the 2024 style with ability score increases and feats. They have not provided any indication of whether that's something they intend to support in the future, or if so, when that might be.

I seem to remember it worked at one point, but just now it isn’t populating fear or ability.
