I bought the players handbook digital specifically to play this race, but it is not available as an option. I only have 3 elf options as a dropdown in the free rules and these other races show up in the PHB

In the 2024 Player's Handbook, there's only a single Elf species. This is by design.
It has three options for "Elven Lineage" which change some of the species features: High Elf, Wood Elf, and Drow. Selecting "Drow" for this option is how you can play a Drow under 2024 rules.
