When using the Dueling fighting style and the Shillelagh cantrip to buff your melee weapon, the shillelagh damage roll calculation does not include the +2 damage for the fighting style. It is my understanding that this is synergistic. The +2 does appears in the calc for any equipped one hand weapons. Possibly an oversight or bugged?
Code-wise, the spell simply isn't aware of which specific weapon you're using, which feats you have, or whether you're using a weapon with only one hand.
