So, I've noticed all me friends have received the notification that their pre-ordered monster manuals will be shipping soon.
I have received no notification. Best I can tell, what happened is that back when wizards billed me for the DMG pre-order, Wizards simultaneously sent me an email saying no payment was received, and them promptly deleted all records that I ever pre-ordered anything from my transaction history. It then took multiple weeks for wizards to fix the damage done with my the DMG portion of my pre-order. It was though eventually all fixed.
I pointed out to Wizards support staff that they had also deleted the monster Manual Pre-Order from their records and asked if that would also be fixed. But the staff was so overwhelmed with how badly the DMG orders were borked that my queries about the coming monster Manual problem were ignored.
The time has come though and the problem does not appear to be fixed. Does wizards have any plans to repair this or am I just out of luck and won't receive the Monster Manual I pre-ordered last year?
The order history shows only the last three months by default. If you purchased it before then, you'll need to change the filter to a longer time period, and you should then be able to see your order status.
Oh I searched my history for an entire year at the time. All records of my entire pre-order were deleted when the DMG orders was incorrectly cancelled. Even the previously shipped and already received PHB portion of the pre-order was deleted from my order history when the DMG error happened. Wizards deleted it all.
I am guessing this is why it took so long to fix the DMG mistake. It appears that when Wizards incorrectly decided it hadn't been paid for the DMG, instead of cancelling the order, the record of it ever existing appears to have been deleted.
Thanks. I will do that later if necessary when I have more time. I'm posting here for now because I've already explained this to support multiple times last year and nothing was done.
