The 2024 handbook says pick cantrip and spells from either cleric, druid, or Wizard cantrip/spell list. The site only says Wizard and therefore only gives those spells.
Example: I want word of radiance from cleric list but not even a choice
It’s set up on the character sheet as three separate feats: one for each spell list. You’ll need to remove the wizard one and select the cleric one instead.
If you chose the Sage background, however, then per the rules you’d choose only from the wizard list. (The Acolyte background instead gives access to the Cleric list.)

Ah I see what you mean as it relates to the background magic initiate not the feat alone. I wish that was clearer in the book. Thank you for the help.
