My Cleric has Potent Spellcasting from Level 7 (Blessed Strikes). I have Sacred Flame as a cantrip but I've gained it from Magic Initiate (Cleric) which might be why this is not working.
It does not automatically add the the Wisdom modifier to damage from Potent Spellcasting: Add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any Cleric cantrip.
Yeah, only spells learned through the cleric class will be recognized as cleric spells. However, you can click on that spell, then open the Customize section in the sidebar to manually add that bonus.
