I'm trying to build a clockwork soul sorceress character and I have the Tasha's guide to everything book for it but when I click on subclass literally the only subclass coming up is dragonic sorcery. My friend has a lot of books that he's sharing with me so I should have access to so many other subclasses.
The TCOE version of Clockwork Soul works only on the 2014 Sorcerer, and it sounds like you’ve probably selected the 2024 Sorcerer instead. Make sure both Expanded Rules and 2014 Core Rules are enabled for your character, then on the Class page, make sure you select the second Sorcerer class, the one under 2014 Core Rules.
If you do want to use that subclass with the 2024 class instead, then you’ll need the 2024 PHB and its version of that subclass.

I didn't buy it it's shared with me, I have a different character in a campaign with a friend that has that book.
And yes 2014 and 2024 is enabled, or at least I think it is its got the check mark next to it. And yes I selected the second sorcerer class.
That explains it. When the content is shared with you, it's only accessible on the character(s) in the campaign. Other characters on your account don't have character builder access to those contents.
*face palm* i figured it out, i need to have the actual character herself that inwant to use clockworm soul on part of the campaign of the person who is content sharing with me, not just any character.
Well… I purchased everything myself and still not seeing it,
Given you're not the person that started this thread, it could be your issue is entirely different
What are you trying to do? Do you own the right player's handbook for the character you're trying to make (2014 vs 2024)? Have you selected the right base class? If you own the 2014 PHB but selected 2024 Sorcerer, you won't see some of the subclasses from the 2014 PHB.
No one can really help if you drop into a thread that's been inactive for almost a year and post a very vague comment that doesn't really tell anyone anything.

Nope nothing is working. It's not showing ANY subclass besides draconic sorcery for the 2014 and the 2024
In that case, go to Account > Licenses and ensure your entitlements are in sync.

ModeratorDid you purchase TCOE yourself? If so, is it listed here under Current Product Licenses?

If you didn’t, is your character assigned to a campaign where that book is shared with you?
Do you have both Expanded Rules and 2014 Core Rules enabled for that character?
When selecting your class, did you scroll down and select the second Sorcerer class, the one under 2014 Core Rules?
