I have a full subscription as I am primarily a DM, and have encountered an issue with the Character Builder for one of my campaigns. I have purchased the 2014 Ruleset Books (PHB 2014, MM 2014, DMG 2014, and others) but when creating a character the Sorcerer Wild Magic subclass is the only one available to select during creation. Is it somehow expecting the 2024 edition is the only valid ruleset and as I have not purchased those then the subclass options are limited to the Draconic Sorcerer subclass only?
Is there something during Campaign or Character Creation that I need to select to force the 2014 ruleset?
They’re set up as separate classes. If you want to use the 204 class, first make sure 2014 Core Rules is enabled for your character. Then when selecting your class, scroll down and choose the SECOND Sorcerer class, the one under 2014 Core Rules.
