I just bought Quests from the Infinite Staircase with the hope of finally just doing everything on one platform. Tracking combat, maps, tokens, the lot. But when I add the map in the Maps VTT it doesn't ask me to set the Token Scale, which is seems to for uploaded files. So all the tokens are the wrong size and movement is wrong etc.
I read some post from a while ago that it hasn't previously worked on official material, which I think is absolutely mindboggling and I'm not sure why that would be the case? Surely they want people to be able to buy the content and use it out of the box. That's the point, right?
The included maps are supposed to be scaled already, which is why it doesn’t prompt to re-set the scale. You could always download the image from the book and manually upload it if you do want to change the scale.
Which specific map is having this trouble, though?
Every single map from Quests from the Infinite Staircase, as far as I can tell. They seem to all be double the size. So each square is roughly 10ft.
Yes, that's a good tip to download and re-upload, thank you. But I can do that on my other usual VTTs. I ideally want everything on DnDBeyond from now on to support the platform and make things easier for my DMing. 😊

For Buried Ziggurat, at least, 10 feet per square is indeed the intended scale.
This also matches the scale of the map in this adventure’s first printing in 1982.
