This is my first time trying to create a subclass, and I am unable to finish.
I am trying to create the Ranger subclass, The Justifier, from AD&D's 2nd Edition 'The Complete Ranger's Handbook'.
I believe I have finished all the vital details, but when I review the information under, Homebrew > Subclasses > Justifier, it reads as follows:
This Subclass cannot be shared with the community for the following reasons:
This homebrew Subclass does not have the necessary class features with the correct required levels.
I believe I have keyed the 'Class Features' of the subclass to specific levels, but maybe I don't quite understand what is being asked. Also, I have entered information for all the mandatory blocks indicated with a red asterisk.
What might I be missing, so that I can finish and post the subclass?
Are they keyed to the specific levels that the Class Features table has a "Subclass Feature"? 3,7,11,15 I think. AFAIK you have to match all of those levels.
Make sure to click "Save" on the main screen after having updated all the subclass features. The thing that checks whether you have the right subclass feature levels seems to only run when you click the main Save button, not when you save the individual features.
Thank you Perringaiden! You may have uncovered my dilemma.
As I look back through the PHB, I now realize that each class doles out subclass features at different levels. For example, and as you aptly point out, Rangers have them at 3, 7, 11 and 15, while a Bard has them at 3, 6, and 14, and a Fighter has them at 3, 7, 10, 15, and 18. I was under the impression I could merely dictate what levels I wanted a Ranger to gain his subclass features.
I will go back and adjust accordingly and hope that fixes the problem.
Worth noting that those errors only apply if you’re trying to publish your subclass for the global community. If you just want to use it in your own campaigns, you can safely ignore any errors and add features at whatever levels you (and your DM) like.

Thank you for your assistance in aiding me post the Ranger Justifier!
I had erred when not properly aligning the 'Levels' with the subclass features for the specifics of a Ranger.
It is now posted and I await any constructive criticisms.
Good adventuring to all!

Yes. Thank you very much for the info!
As I am one of those Ranger-lovers, I am interested in what the Community thinks of my take on the old 'Justifier' from 2nd. Ed.
This should now be fixed! You may need to edit your subclass first and hit the main save button before the error clears.
