Start off with I own the player's handbook 2024 edition. When looking to do a home brewed spell based on one of the spells in the 2024 players handbook. None of the 2024 handbook spells appear as a spell that you can use as a basis for the new spell .
When you say you own it, does that mean you purchased it yourself? Any shared character options can only be used inside the campaign that's sharing it, and the homebrew system isn't part of any campaign.
If you did purchase it, does this page say your Account Entitlements are in sync? Does it show that book under Current Product Licenses? https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses
It's nothing on my end. And yes before you ask I turned it off and turned it on again, and then made sure my computer is plugged in.
When the options for spells to base the new spell on are brought up it shows the expanded list and the 2014 list. It does not show 2024. Example. I was trying to do something off of word of radiance it doesn't appear.
In 2024 it's in the player's handbook in 2014. It's in Tasha's. I think not the player's handbook.
You actually hadn’t said everything was synced, which is why I was double-checking. 😅
I also still need you to confirm whether the book is listed here under Current Product Licenses. If it isn’t, that would explain why you’re not able to select spells like Word of Radiance. https://www.dndbeyond.com/account/licenses
Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly, though, you’re saying you don’t see a Core Rules group at the top of that spell selection? Just the Expanded Rules and 2014 Core Rules sections?
Word of Radiance does show up for me, both the 2024 version here under Core Rules, and the XGTE version under Expanded Rules.

I only have the Three core books from 2014 and 2024 on d&d beyond.
When I check for spells to use as a template. The only things that are there are expanded rules and 2014 rules. The core rules or 2024 rules are not there at all for spells. And yes no matter how many times I say it, everything is bought. Everything is synced. Everything is licensed. Stop asking the question already.
I'm grateful for help. But pretend I'm not a moron. I'm not looking for help desk for dummies
I’m just trying to get the information I need to be able to help you. I don’t have access to your account. I can’t see what you see. Without clear and direct answers to the questions I ask, I’m flying blind here.

Yes, I own the 2024 and 2014 Players handbooks in d&d beyond. Where I purchase them myself. They're on my account.

Can you share a screenshot of that dropdown (without filtering for that specific spell)? Instructions here if you need them:

Do you get the same issue in another browser or on another device?
