Categories of items like "Druidic Focus" are listed as options, just like the actual items. The following is from memory and may not reflect exactly what the options are, but this is an issue I have encountered during character creation and leveling ups in the Character Editor. It's not exclusive to choosing a Druidic Focus--most drop downs are like this. The poor setup ruins user experience and confuses novice D&D players like myself.
Hmm, I might imagine it's left there for those that would prefer to flavour their Druidic Focus in another way rather than mistletoe/totem/yew wand. Or maybe that's just a happy coincidence.
Selecting nothing is also an option, so would you need both?
EDIT: And if that were intentional, you would think choosing "Druidic Focus" would trigger a textbox that would replace it in you inventory with custom content. Not the case, though.

I just noticed that the Tags dropdown on the Magic Items search has "Tag" and "Tags" as options. Was that by design as well?
