I created a half dragonborn species for one of my players. He's been playing him for quite some time. I told him when we got to level 5 I would up how many times he could use his breath weapon to his proficiency level. I left the amount of dice as a dragonborn but instead of 3d6 at 6th level it will be 3d8. The range also increased from 15' to 20'. I've changed everything successfully, but his sheet does not update to the new stats. I made a new character as a half dragonborn and everything works fine for the new character. Anyone know why my player's sheet is not updating? He relies on D&D Beyond heavily for his character's stats so I would like for it to show correct for him. Thanks!
What if you change the character's race, then change it back?
it is still in my collection. I made a copy of his character. The copy is correct. Then I changed the original character's race and that worked too just in case someone else has this issue. Thanks so much for the help!

Hello all.

It can take a solid 15 or 20 minutes before changes to homebrew things are actually reflected on character sheets.
pronouns: he/she/they
yea it's been a couple of hours
Had you published this homebrew? Publishing makes updates very difficult.

no.
Is the race still in your My Homebrew Collection? Not just in My Homebrew Creations?
What if you change the character's race, then change it back?
