My character just leveled up to 5 (on DND Beyond) and the feat I chose at level 4 (Shield Master) was missing from my sheet. I went in to select it again but it does not appear on the list. All other feats are listed, but not shield master. I own the new Players Handbook, so it should be there along with all the others.
Update: I still have the active effects of Shield Master on my sheet (+1 Str, and shield bash), but the level 4 feature (ASI) is set as not chosen. It lets me select another feat and I get both effects now.
The most likely explanation is that the feat was added elsewhere. It won’t let you select that same feat twice, which is why it wouldn’t show when choosing another feat.
If you go to Features & Traits and click that feat, though, there should be a Delete button at the bottom of the sidebar.
